After the death of Alexander Nevsky, the great prince of Vladimir became his brother Yaroslav Yaroslavich, Prince of Tver.
He followed the example of his father and brother.
In his reign, the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Tatar yoke ended, since in 1268 the Khan Berke died, under which the Tatars accepted the Mohammedan faith.
