(1125 – 1132)
Mstislav Vladimirovich, the eldest son of Vladimir Monomakh, after the death of his father, established himself on the throne of Kiev.
He was a worthy successor to his father: he worked hard for the good of the country and kept the princes in subjection.
He took over the Polotsk principality and gave it to his son Izyaslav, and sent the Polotsk princes to Greece.
